It has been encouraging to have four separate people feedback from latest magazine distribution – two by visiting on a Sunday and two enquiries regarding different activities. On top of that are the many replies we have had to the Holiday Club with around 80 now signed up in total.

Next week is a hive of activity as Christians gather together to share the love and truth of Christ in our community. Not all of us can participate in person, but I would trust that each of us is able to conduct spiritual battle for the week in prayer. In Colossians 4v12 Paul writes, “He is always wrestling in prayer for you…”. Please pray for unity and freshness in the team, open hearts amongst those who come, for relationships to be built up, for the presence of God to be evident, for the gospel to be proclaimed with courage and sensitivity, for the Holy Spirit to bring conviction of both sin and Jesus Christ and for people to begin the disciple journey.

There is worship and prayer on the Sunday evening at 6.30pm, and prayer each weekday from 8.30-9.00am.

Let us remember too that the Alpha courses will be re-launching in September, may the Lord lead us to whom we can pray for and invite.
